Aquera App Onboarding & Operations is a hub that onboards an organization's application portfolio into identity provider (IDP) and identity governance and administration (IGA) platforms, Okta, Microsoft Entra ID, Saviynt, and SailPoint, without meetings. It combines self-service application discovery surveys, guided SSO and IGA onboarding wizards, automated IGA entitlement file operations, and a central application inventory that auto-syncs results to the IDP and IGA.

Aquera supports leading identity platforms including Okta and Microsoft Entra ID on the IDP side and Saviynt and SailPoint on the IGA side. Questionnaire templates are specific to each IDP and IGA platform.

It eliminates application information meeting hell, the slow, expensive process where teams collect application information one app at a time through repeated app-team meetings, manual notes, and emails. That traditional approach takes months or years, and expensive SI consulting teams still don't get the information needed. Aquera replaces it with parallel, self-service questionnaire collection that takes days per app.

An IAM admin, one person or a small team, sends customized questionnaire templates to application owners. App owners answer what they know and delegate remaining questions to app admins and subject-matter experts, so questionnaires complete incrementally. Automated notifications and manager escalations keep stakeholders on track. Completed questionnaires are cataloged as structured results and auto-synced to the IDP and IGA.

More than 7,000 questionnaire templates are included. Templates are application-specific and tailored by IDP and IGA platform, so each app's questionnaire asks exactly what Okta, Microsoft Entra ID, Saviynt, or SailPoint needs to onboard it. Every template is fully customizable.

Application owners receive a questionnaire and answer the questions they know. They delegate the remaining questions to app admins or other experts, whose answers automatically roll back into the same questionnaire. This delegated, incremental model means no single person must know everything about an application.

Aquera sends automated notifications and reminders, tracks SLAs, and escalates to managers when responses stall. This replaces the manual stakeholder-chasing that slows traditional application onboarding projects.

A guided SSO configuration wizard walks through onboarding the application onto the IDP platform: choosing the SSO protocol (SAML 2.0 or OpenID Connect), SAML settings, sign-on methods, general settings, and credential details. On completion, the app is configured in the IDP.

The IGA application onboarding wizard reviews the application, lets the admin select the IGA platform and connection, and generates the SCIM URL and SCIM token the IGA uses to connect to the app. On success, the application is created in the IGA, governance-ready on completion.

Cloud applications, on-premises applications, and databases and custom applications are all in scope. Every application type flows into the same hub and the same application inventory, with the same questionnaire-driven onboarding and entitlement file operations.

It is Aquera's automation infrastructure for collecting entitlement file extracts and compliance artifacts from app admins and auditors and delivering validated files to the IGA. It includes automated file collection, entitlement visibility, reminders and escalations, and an app admin portal.

Quality and compliance controls include immediate data validation on arrival, pre-correlation assurance of files before they reach the IGA, error-handling automation, associated artifact collection, and audit review with forensics.

Traditional onboarding relies on meeting hell, repeated app-team meetings, while Aquera requires no meetings, using self-service questionnaires instead.
